RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR TRADE STANDS,EXHIBITORS,FOOD SALES,CHARITIES ETC.2010

PLEASE READ RULES AD REGULATIONS BEFORE APPLYING FOR A TRADE STAND

REGULATIONS

1. Intending Exhibitors must copmplete the entry form and forward it to the trade stand secretary.

2. All persons who have entered exhibits and fail to exhibit the same shall forfeit ALLfees and charges paid on making their entries and spaces which has been allotted.

3 Exhibitors are not to sublet any portion of the space allotted to them.

4. The show committee shall deal with applications for space at their discretion which shall determine the area and position on the showground and each exhibtor shall be strictly confined to the space allotted by the show committee and paid for.

5. All implements etc.for the exhibition shall be in the showground in the space allotted by the show committee and stands be completed by 8.30 am on day of the show .After which time no motor vehicle or other vehicle will be allowed to enter the showground.Exhibitors may set up on the day before the show as site security is in place overnight.

6. No motor vehicle may remain on the showground during the time the show is open,unless permission of the secretary or show manger is obtained.

7.No turf shall be lifted by the exhibitor except where absolutley necessary for the display of an exhibition,in which case the prior permission of the show committee shall be obtained.

8. No cheapjacks or hawkers allowed to rent space in the interest of all stall holders.Exhibitors of miscellaneous articles for sale must state full particulars on the reverse side of the entry form.

9. The sale of goods by shouting or other annoying behaviour is forbidden.

10. The show committee , through the secretary, shall have full and free right to refuse to accept any entry , to cancel any entry after been made and accepted,to refuse admission to the showground of any proposed exhibit and / or order it to be removed at the risk and expense of their own of any exhibit that has been admitted to the showground.There shall be no obligation upon the show committee to make or offer any explanation of reason or any such action and the shoew committee shall not incur any liability for responsibility in the matter.

11 The show committee , its officers or sevants, shall not be responsible for any accident, damage or loss , however caused ,that may occur to any exhibitor , or his/her servant,or article.animal or property brought into the show ground.Each exhibitor shall be solely responsible for any loss,damage ,injury that may be done to or occaisioned by or arising from any machinery or othe articles or any animal or property exhibited by him/her and it is a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall indemnify and hold blameless Thee Show Committee from and against all actions . expenses and claims on account of ant sich damage or injury.

12. The Show Committee will not be responsible for any claims for compensation or otherwise in regard to the holding or withholding the show, or for anything out of or connected herewith.

13. The Show Committe's Rules and Regulations are open to inspection at the office of the Secretary and published in the show committee's general schedule,copies of which can be had upon application and every exhibitor shall be deemed to have done so and to have notice thereof and shall be bound hereby.

14. N0 draw or lottery of any kind.

15. Exhibitors must clear their sites by 6.30pm on the day of the show.A CHARGE MAY BE MADE FOR THE CLEARANCE OF ANY RUBBISH LEFT ON THE SITE AND NOT PLACED IN THE BINS PROVIDED.

16. Positions shall be allotted on a first come first served basis .

17. ALL caterers must have valid environmental health and liability certificates on show day.

18. ALL fairground rides must produce their safety and public liability certificates on show day

19. Where a generator in excess of 110 volts is in use , it must be fenced off from the public.

20. Unsafe operation of generators will not be allowed and may lead to eviction from the site and possible legal action.

21. Liquid petroleum gas appliances must have been examined and tested by a competant person and stored in safe position.

22. Live animals including goldfish must not be sold or offered as prizes or brought onto any trade stand without prior written agreement with the trade stand secretary.

EXHIBITORS WILL BE HELD RESONSIBLE FOR ALL FIRE AND ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE GAUSED BY THEM,THEIR SERVANTS OR AGENTS AND THEREFORE EXHIBITORS SHOULD INSURE NOT ONLY AS REGARDS THEIR OWN PROPERTY , BUT ALSO AGAINST THIRED PARTY CLAIMS FOR BOTH FIRE AND ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE
